Bell Orchestre is a six-piece instrumental band that shares members with Arcade Fire and the Luyas and borrows freely from post-rock, jazz and classical to create textured chamber-pop orchestral music.  
 
As Seen Through Windows, Bell Orchestre's second release, is a richly layered and sonically expansive recording; a recording that closely mirrors Bell Orchestre's process of making music. Opening with the distressed sound of muted and distorted horns, strings and drums, the album effortlessly shifts into an elaborate and soaring movement, sometimes edging close to fragility, sometimes on the verge of exploding. The result is a collage-like construction of evocative sound and cinematic visual elements, a sound that is uniquely their own.
