LeE HARVey OsMOND and ‘acid folk' was born in a garage off Clinton Ave in Toronto. Acouple of stories are floating around about this Canadian indie supergroup'shistory. One states that due to the temporary hiatus of Blackie and the RodeoKings, Wilson contacted some music friends to do a little recording. Anotherclaims the group formed after Wilson was asked to participate in Kennedy Suites, a Cowboy Junkies projectbased on the JFK assassination.

Joining Tom Wilson on thisnew collaborative project are some of the Cowboy Junkies, a few Skydiggers, RayFarrugia from Junkhouse and long-time folkie Brent Titcomb.  It could be dubbed ‘Junkhouse meets theJunkies' or ‘folk music with a bottom end and a lot of groove'. Hypnoticrhythms rule their songwriting circle and create a sound that comes creepingout of the Northern woods and across the Great Lakes into the South right intoour souls.

Look for LeE HARVey OsMOND'sdebut release, Quiet Evil, rumouredto hit the shelves in early 2009.
