** You now have a choice of purchasing a 4-day pass as a single ticket to be exchanged for a 4-day wristband at the same great price as last year, or buy a 4-day flex pass to share with friends, and save almost $60 off the cost of single-day tickets.  (Flex passes are for adults only. All youth and student passes are non-transferable)

The Adult 4-day passes are single-user passes. You will receive a single ticket, to be exchanged at the festival for a non-transferable 4-day wristband. This wristband must stay on your wrist for the duration of the festival. Any evidence of tampering or removal and reattachment of the wristband will render it null and void. If your wristband is damaged and needs to be replaced, you may exchange it at the festival box office with proof of receipt and valid ID.

A 4-day flex pass is meant to be shared with friends. You will receive 4 individual tickets (one each of Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun). Each ticket will be exchanged for a single-day wristband at the festival, and can be redeemed only once. With the flex pass you save almost $60 off the cost of single-day tickets. 

The "fine print" for folk fest tickets

  • Ticket prices include GST and all service charges. 
  • 10% discount on orders over $1350, available through the Folk Festival office. Discount does not apply to Student or Youth passes. (not online).
  • Children under 13 admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Seniors 65 and over are admitted free. Proof of age required at the gate.
  • The student 4-day pass is for students 18 and over with valid high school or post-secondary ID.
  • Adult 4-day flex passes are transferable (a set of individual tickets)
  • ALL adult, youth and student passes (excluding the adult 4-day flex pass) are a single ticket to be exchanged on-site for a 4-day non-transferable wristband. Student ticket holders MUST PRESENT VALID STUDENT ID TO RECEIVE A WRISTBAND.
  • A limited number of 4-day and single day passes are available.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • No refunds or exchanges, and the festival runs rain or shine.
