Calgary Folk Music Festival returns July 25–28, 2024

Mark your calendars and tell your cousin you won't be making it to their summer wedding, the 45th annual Calgary Folk Music Festival, July 25–28, powered by ATB, is going to be massive. We're already working away on our biggest festival yet, and we can't wait to see you on the island.

A summer vibe like no other

The annual Festival is a four-day family-friendly cultural and musical extravaganza. Featuring 70 artists from Alberta, Canada, and the world performing on five daytime and two evening stages in concerts and sessions — unpredictable mash-ups where artists collaborate in unique and unexpected ways, sharing songs and stories. It’s a destination event and essential community gathering for 53,000 Calgarians and tourists, run by 2,000 community volunteers.

With summer just around the bend, it’s time to confirm volunteer intentions for the big fest!

If you are a returning volunteer, please keep an eye on your email as you will be granted access to the volunteer portal between March 13th - 15th.

Arts market (closed) and food vendor applications deadline soon

Arts market and food vendor applications are now open for a limited time! All applications must be received via the online application form by March 19 (arts market) and March 31 (food vendors).
