Event Guidelines: Restrictions Exemption Program

Event Guidelines: Restrictions Exemption Program

On September 15th the Government of Alberta declared a state of public emergency, announcing new restrictions that impact Festival Hall and all upcoming events.

To ensure the health and safety of all patrons, staff, volunteers and artists, the Calgary Folk Music Festival and all associated events will require audience members 12 years and older to show proof of vaccination for the foreseeable future. Entry will be denied for those who cannot provide the required proof of vaccination documentation.

The policy extends to all CFMF volunteers and staff; they will be required to provide proof of vaccination to work with the organization.

Those with a medical exemption must provide a doctor’s letter before attending any in-person, indoor event at Festival Hall or associated CFMF events.

The Calgary Folk Music Festival will NOT be accepting any COVID-19 test results in lieu of vaccine status. We do not have the capacity or expertise to determine the validity of medical test results.

Our masking policy remains in place with exceptions for those with documented medical exemptions.

We thank everyone for doing their part to help keep our community safe.
