(Montreal, Quebec)

Time singing in church choirs as a child, formal operatic and jazz training and masterclasses with Dean Bowman (Screaming Headless Torsos) and Bobby McFerrin crafted this multi-faceted Mexican singer-songwriter’s romantic, jazz and Latin-infused folk songs and folklore. While living in the Caribbean, Mamselle found inspiration in her immediate environment, leading to her exploring themes of nature and connections between living creatures. She addresses social inequities and shares her joie de vivre through her beautiful songs and melodious voice.
