The Blue Warblers
Natalie Edelson and Kim Beggs would be the perfect duo to hang out with you and your friends around the crackling campfire on a crisp cool summer evening. The two old friends, both accomplished solo singer-songwriters, were inspired to perform as a duo by their love of traditional American music and their deep-roots in the Canadian tundra. The Blue Warblers bring many influences to the fireside including traditional Appalachian music, southern gospel and urban singer songwriter- style folk, all channeled through their personal experiences and the everyday poetry of the northern wilderness that surrounds them. The duo combines clawhammer banjo, old timey guitar, hand-knee percussion and rich harmonies, much like an edgy back- porch sing-along, melding original and traditional songs that stand as a testament to the spirit of campfires, cabins and kitchen parties everywhere.
