Jim Bryson is a singer songwriter, instrumentalist and producer whose 5th album, produced by Charles Spearin (Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think, Feist), will be released this fall. He’s lauded as an artist who stretches his musical limits; an underrated songwriter whose 4 critically acclaimed albums highlight considered lyrics, delicate hooks and catchy choruses. He recorded and produced Oh Susanna’s "Namedropper" CD and songs for the Skydiggers’ “Angels.” He and Jeremy Fisher’s Catch and Release series had them writing, recording and releasing a song in a single day. Jim also collaborated with Chris Page under the name Owl Mountain Radar. Bryson enjoys riding the musical sidecar and has played and toured with Kathleen Edwards, The Weakerthans and The Tragically Hip. He runs Fixed Hinge, a newly built recording “shed” called just outside Ottawa.
