Blackie and the Rodeo Kings are proof of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts—and when you consider the greatness of those individual parts, you know you’re in for something special. BARK was formed when Canadian folk and roots legends Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson joined for one album—in 1996. Since then, their combined musical genius has augmented their incredible solo pedigrees, allowing them to showcase their talents and strengths for growing audiences across North America.

Tom Wilson was the leader of ’90s Canadian rock darlings Junkhouse; Linden’s 35-year-career has led to him being one of the most sought-after artists in the roots & blues world; and Fearing’s Irish-inflected folk recordings have earned him a following on both sides of the Atlantic. From their respective musical traditions, Wilson, Linden and Fearing have developed a singular sound that is best described as traditional country rock Southern hardcore folk bar blues. Whatever you call them, they bring rowdy irrepressible energy to bear on impeccable musicianship, creating an undeniable sonic feast.
