Quebec City-born Mexican and Paraguayan descendent Daniel Russo Garrido, aka Boogát, discovered a whole new world of possibilities after working with electronic music producer Poirier and Colombian/Montrealer Roberto Lopez. Boogát’s infectious and dance-enticing sounds transport audiences with the festive euphoria of a modern Latin American carnival where horns are aces, the bass is queen, digital sounds are king and Boogat's rapid fire delivery is the jack. His multiple influences blend Latin hip-hop and electronica on a retro-futuristic canvas made with traditional Latin American music samples as original material, mash-ups and remixes mingle in a modern copy+paste pace. Sonic travels from sexy Reggaetón to cool cumbia at the turn of an explosive salsa get crowds sweating like a tropical tornado in a celebratory, communal vibe.
