No.
All Block Heater events will be separately ticketed including Sunday’s Jack Singer Concert Hall performances (afternoon and evening). Our Olympic Plaza event, in partnership with Chinook Blast, is free of charge.
Yes, with the exception of our events at The Palace Theatre on Friday and Saturday evening. The Palace Theatre is NOT all ages, those attending must be 18+ and may have to provide ID.
For infants aged below two years, no ticket will be required, but they will need to be accommodated on the parent or guardian’s lap, as no seat will be allocated. Children over the age of two require a seat and therefore a paid ticket.
Tickets range from $20 to $45 depending on venue and event. Head to our ticketing page to see our full list of prices.

Yes, feel free to bring a picnic/ non-alcoholic beverages. Thermos of hot chocolate, anyone?
A: Yes, Central United Church is a dry venue, with no bar service. We will have non-alcoholic beverages (water, pop, etc.) for sale.
Photography with DSLR, mirrorless, and any full-frame or crop sensor digital cameras is not permitted at Block Heater venues unless otherwise accredited by the Calgary Folk Music Festival through our approved media list.
Cell-phone pictures and videos are encouraged at all our events. Be sure to tag @calgaryfolkfest across platforms.

Block Heater merchandise can be purchased by our roaming volunteer sellers during the event. Act fast – we have limited quantities!

We strive to ensure venues are accessible to all patrons, volunteers, staff and performers.
The Palace Theatre, main floor event space is wheelchair and reduced-mobility accessible. Wheelchair and reduced-mobility washrooms are also located on the main floor.
Festival Hall is wheelchair and reduced-mobility accessible, please note the venue does not have a ramp in front of the building, sidewalk ramps are located at the end of the block. Accessible washrooms are available at the venue. The venue will have limited mobility seating.
The Ironwood Stage & Grill is wheelchair and reduced-mobility accessible, please note the venue does not have a ramp in front of the building, sidewalk ramps are located at the end of the block. Accessible washrooms are available at the venue, located near the stage area.
Yes, you can purchase them separately. Our prize raffle is an online raffle, and tickets can only be purchased via accessing our raffle page at www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/cfmfraffle or through our QR code on posters.
Our Block Heater 50/50 tickets will be sold in person via CFMF raffle ticket sellers at all indoor Block Heater venues.

50/50 raffle: In person at Block Heater venues
The winning ticket number will be posted on the Calgary Folk Music Festival website (www.calgaryfolkfest.com), social media and on the raffle page.
When you purchase online or in person you must use a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Visa debit and/or Mastercard debit.
You will receive an email confirmation with your tickets following your payment. Your email address must be entered correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure you receive your tickets.
All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered into the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the amount of tickets they desire to purchase.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name appears on the winning ticket.
