Prairie born and raised Landreth grew up with a guitar in his hands. Working as a sideman through his teens and early twenties, Joey was a road warrior, playing genre- crossing music that ranged from gospel to country. At twenty-five he joined forces with his older brother on their first – and almost immediately successful - independent project, The Bros. Landreth, which vaulted into the public’s attention and garnered a Juno, among other awards. 2016 marks the launch of his solo career. Landreth has the rare ability to be vulnerable and open, blowing audiences away with his beautiful voice, songs and musical proficiency.
Chantal Vitalis plays a mean electric guitar, dabbles on a bunch of other instruments on her original, creative compositions and poetry. From her first foray into original music in the ‘80s playing electric guitar with the much-loved Same Difference, to fronting the tight trio maud, to a recurring role as part of Kris Demeanor's Crack Band, wearing fancy threads and shredding in the ‘60s pop group The Love Bullies and composing for film, she’s become an indispensable member of the Calgary music scene.
